Secondary & Senior Secondary

At the Secondary and Senior School level, the emphasis shifts to preparing the student as per the curricula and syllabi prescribed by the National Council for Educational Research & Training (NCERT) and the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

 

The system of education at this stage is geared towards achieving higher academic goals through all possible means such as effective classroom instruction, remedial work with weak students and special classes for students due to appear in the Board examination.

 

We draw out yearly plans in which the syllabus for each class in divided into convenient segments. Each segment, including its revision, is covered within the required period of time.

A child's promotion to the next class at the end of an academic year does not depend on the annual examination alone under the system of continuous evaluation

This system of continuous assessment is followed for all academic subjects in conformity with the recommendations of CBSE, to which we are affiliated.

The system ensures planned implementation of instruction and evaluation within a stipulated time frame.

Assessments are done through unit tests and examinations and due weightage is given to all of these at the time of a student’s promotion.

Pre-board exams are conducted for X and XII students to intensify efforts and enhance their preparations to  effectively tackle the board exams.
